I came across this image today as I was sorting through my old photos for stock images. It evoked nostalgic emotions of freedom and happiness.
This beautiful scene made we remember the joy of true freedom. The freedom from society. The freedom from self imagery. The freedom from belief. The freedom from belonging. The freedom from possessions. The freedom from attachments.
The rain the sleet the deer and the vast open space of Lamar valley on this cold November afternoon visited me again this morning. It dissipated all fears of insecurities and disappointments. Life isn't about disappointments, its about living. We just have the tendency to fill it with over expectations.

I remember that day, like it was yesterday. It was a great trip. Maybe we should go there next spring to see it in different colors.
